Website Creation:
Prices for sites are quoted on a site by site basis. Prices may vary depending on how much of the "work" you have already done and the specific types of pages you request.
But to give you a general idea, we will create a multi-page, custom-to-your-specification site with the following features for a package price of $350.00:
Home Page Photo Page -up to 6 thumbnailed and linked photos; (photos may be either e-mailed or snail-mailed to us; we will return mailed photos if you supply self-addressed stamped envelope). Amenities/features Page with your text Rates/Contact Page ...or substitute any of above pages for similar pages of your choice. PLUS: "Link" directly to your email Hit Counter on Home Page 1 month general maintenance after site is published & approved by you (minor changes/rewrites) Publishing site to hosting service One-time submittal to 6 top search engines (Alta Vista, Go/Infoseek, Lycos, Hotbot, Excite & Northern Light)
Optional charges: Thumbnailed/linked photos over 6: $10/each Additional website pages over 4: $25/each Feedback forms: $50/each Site submittal to mass search engine submittal service (submits to over 300 search engines): $40.00
All pages will include specialty backgrounds, buttons, bars, animation (if desired), hyperlinks to other pages, & scanned photos. We will include hidden keywords in the html code so the search engines can find your site, and will submit your site to some of the major search engines. Other available features are feedback forms and sound.
We request half of the total cost before we begin, and the balance after your acceptance and approval.
If you desire a site with different features, please contact us and we will provide a quote specific to your needs.
Web Hosting & Domain Names
Web hosting services can vary in price. We can publish to the service of your choice or we can publish your site to our account with own preferred hosting service (Webcom/Verio) that we use and recommend. The price for hosting under our account with our service is $10.00 per month plus 1.00 per megabyte (most sites we do are between 4 and 8 mg), and we request payment for a year in advance. You can also set up your own account with your own hosting service (make sure they are able to use "Front Page Extensions") and we can publish to that service.
You can choose the domain name of your choice, and if it's available we'll publish to that domain name (such as www.yourname.com). We can check availability of the domain name of your choice.
If you decide to use your own domain name, there is also a charge of up to $70.00 for domain registration by the InterNIC (the agency that regulates domain names), which covers a two year period. This will be billed directly to you by Network Solutions.
Maintenance
Once your site is completed, we can either maintain your site, or we can send it to you on a zip disk or CD to maintain yourself. You would need Front Page software to maintain the site yourself.
Our charges to maintain a site such as the one offered above are:
First month after completion (minor changes/rewrites), or until you are satisfied with your site - free. $50 per six months or $85/year (paid in advance) for changes/rewrites to existing pages & replacing existing photos; we will also add "banners" on your site to advertise specials or open dates when requested. Extra charges may apply if you have "high maintenance" pages that require frequent updating (such as availability calendars).
